You might know them: Kodak Vision 3 250D and 500T.

These films are the backbone of analog motion pictures, without which Hollywood and indie music video productions would lose their organic tools for that extra touch of analog vibe and emotion. While Classic Vision 3 focuses on the neutral versions of these films, the 16mm Edition is all about the gritty, raw, half-sized negatives with more grain—embracing them just as they come out of the scanner, avoiding any impression of striving for a digital-looking result.

The visual concept behind this pragmatic use of genuine Kodak Vision 3 film stock has now made its way into many genres and industries within the world of motion pictures. We see it in commercials, music videos, and film festivals, where documentaries or dramas win awards.

Both films, as always, are represented through profiles that handle everything Lightroom cannot easily recreate. Each film is interpreted through eight profile variations, offering the raw scan aesthetic as well as a lightly corrected base option—sometimes adding film contrast, other times simply reshaping the colors.

Four presets focus on the aesthetics and color concepts of the many remarkable productions that have brought this 16mm film look into our pop culture. However, you can also use the profiles independently. There's no right or wrong here—everything goes, everything makes sense. Combine, leave out, exaggerate, simplify—be creative!

This product will work with Adobe Lightroom CC (cloud based Version), CameraRAW (10.3 and above) and Classic CC (7.3 and above). To use them with Lightroom Mobile, you'll need a Lightroom CC or Classic CC running on Windows, or OS X.
