Kodak Vision 3 has been the standard for motion picture film since 2007, and that has little to do with convenience. It has everything to do with how it sees.
The tungsten stocks (200T, 500T) wrap artificial light in a warmth that digital sensors chase but never quite catch. The daylight stocks (50D, 250D) render shadow detail with a depth and smoothness that makes digital feel flat by comparison. I spent almost three years on Classic Vision 3. It brings all four emulsions, plus a C41-processed 500T, into Lightroom, built on five custom profiles that do what Adobe Camera Raw alone can't.
