Superia was the film in every drugstore, every disposable camera and every holiday bag of the 2000s. And in the back of the shop that developed it, there was usually a Frontier. Fuji film on a Fuji scanner: that pairing produced the look a whole generation knows from their photo albums. Punchy greens, clean blues, a crisp and slightly cool rendering that's the opposite of Kodak's warmth.
The Superia Edition rebuilds that look across the whole range: Superia 100, 200, 400 and 800, from bright beach days to dim birthday parties.
Every profile starts from linear laboratory data: real scans from the Fujifilm Frontier SP3000 and the Noritsu HS-1800. Instead of putting a look on top of Adobe's generic color rendering, the 3D LUT architecture replaces it. It rebuilds how each color layer responds to exposure, so the typical Superia greens come from the film, not from a slider.
Every exposure, every development
Superia was shot by people who never thought about exposure. Some frames came back overexposed and soft, others thin and grainy. That's part of the look, so every exposure step is its own profile. Each film comes in six steps from EV −2 to +3, developed normally, pushed one or pushed two stops, each in a Frontier and a Noritsu version. Choose Superia 800 at EV −2, Push 2, and you get the party snapshot exactly as the lab returned it.
New: the scan operator's desk, inside Lightroom Classic
A lab scan is more than color. It's also the person at the machine who judges every frame and corrects it with a few keys. The Classic Mini Lab plugin brings that desk into Lightroom Classic. Pick film, scanner and the exposure you shot at, and the plugin loads the matching profile. Then you work like an operator: color and density in whole keys from −8 to +8, contrast presets for highlights and shadows, Hyper-Tone, the different sharpening of SP3000 and HS-1800, and the paper the lab would print on, Fuji Crystal Archive or Kodak Endura. For the full photo-album look, pick Crystal Archive and add a little D-Max Fade. Analyze suggests a starting correction, Judge compares before and after, and Same as Prev carries a correction through the whole roll.
Film Grain adds the grain of your exact stock and exposure step, spread across shadows, midtones and highlights with five luminance masks that follow your density.
